Yuri Yukoto

Yuri Yuko is a Truku cultural practitioner, singer-songwriter, and researcher from Taiwan. She is the co-founder and CEO of Jidi Culture Publishing Ltd., where she works at the intersection of Indigenous culture, storytelling, music, education, and cultural heritage.

Her work focuses on transforming Indigenous histories and cultural knowledge into contemporary forms of public engagement, including music, immersive experiences, educational programs, and cultural interpretation. She is also a PhD student at National Chengchi University, where her research examines Indigenous historical perspectives, cultural heritage, decolonization, and the legacies of colonial violence in Taiwan.

Through both her creative and academic work, Yuri is committed to creating spaces where Indigenous communities can tell their own stories and shape how their histories and cultures are represented.
