Speaker-Mya Beaudry

Mya Beaudry is a proud Algonquin youth from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg and the Founder & CEO of Kokom Scrunchies. She launched the brand at nine years old to honour her culture and inspire her community. Now 15 and in high school, she has grown Kokom Scrunchies into a nationally recognized brand with partnerships with Nike, Mastercard, and the Toronto Maple Leafs, and a feature at the Oscars pre-gifting suite. A pow wow dancer, hockey player, and public speaker since age 10, Mya inspires the next generation to dream big and lead with purpose.
